I don't know. I am sure that one of these days I should just grow up and start listening to music that is suitable for my age. But I am not ready for the new age or country music bandwagon yet. I still wanna' have fun.
That is why I am not surprised that I am really like the song Seven Nation Army by the White Stripes. There is something cool about an album that boasts that there were no computers used in the production. It is bare bones and very, very cool!
It reminds me vaguely of my alternative days when the Cure, Echo and the Bunnymen, Bauhaus, Skinny Puppy and Japan were my favourite bands. Sure. I did venture into the pop scene and was an avid Duran Duran listener but the others all held a piece of my dark heart.
Oh. And the end of the Buffy saga continues. Gunnella of Langavitleysa Gunnellu commented that there was to be a breakthrough on the lesbian front by having a love scene between Willow and her new girlfriend. After watching it, I have to say that if that was a breakthrough scene, we really have a long way to go with this kind of thing. I find it much more shocking that they would show bad girl Faith do it with the principal! Personally, I am delighted to see multi-racial "love" scenes more in the public eye but I think that it is quite a move for American telly. After all, they still have got a long way to go but I suppose that it is a start. The same goes for the lesbian scene...
Well, had best go. Gotta go to yoga class!
